Fire Alarm Design and Installation in Towcester
ES Electrical (Midlands) Ltd, a Northampton based electrical contractor, covers fire alarm design and installation in Towcester and the other areas on its published list. A fire alarm system is designed to a BS 5839 category before anything is fitted, and that category decides where the detectors go and what sounders are needed.
Why does fire alarm design come before installation?
Fire detection starts with choosing a category for the building. BS 5839 is the standard, with separate categories for life and for property. The category decides where detectors go and what sounders are needed.
ES Electrical (Midlands) Ltd both designs and installs fire alarm systems. Apartment projects in Northampton on its portfolio list fire alarms alongside AOVs and communal areas. AOV means automatic opening vent, which lets smoke out of a shared stairwell.
